Recognizing the immediate and growing need for assistance, Cardinal Seán has asked that a special collection be taken in all parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston to support Church relief efforts in the Diocese of Honolulu. We will take up this special collection on September 2 & 3. Parishioners are asked to make their checks payable to their Our Lady of the Angels Parish, with “Maui Relief” in the memo line. We are offering 4 different studies this Fall to strengthen and stretch your Catholic faith. Think of it as back to school for Adults! Please keep in your prayers the 54 Pilgrims from Our Lady of the Angels Parish who are in Lisbon, Portugal for World Youth Day 2023 with Pope Francis. An estimated one million pilgrims from across the globe will attend this event. World Youth Day has been a life changing trip for many in our Life Teen program over the years and would not be possible without your prayers and generous support.

YOU are invited to gather with our parish family at Saint Mary’s Parish Center at 9:00 AM on Sunday, June 11, 2023 (prior to 9:45 AM Mass) to form a Eucharistic Procession to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi (The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ). We will walk along the sidewalk from the parish center to the church, carrying Jesus in the monstrance, accompanied by prayer and songs of worship. All are welcome to participate in this joyful experience as we unite as a parish to give honor and glory to the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Our Lady of the Angels Parish will be hosting a “Protecting God’s Children Seminar” on Monday, June 19th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center. The Boston Archdiocese requires that all Parish Volunteers (over 18 yrs of age) take this course once, in order to be trained to detect and prevent possible child abuse. If you cannot make this session there are literally dozens of other dates, times and locations in the Boston Archdiocese we can help find something that works for you. Summer CCD starts this Thursday, June 22 and runs until Friday, June 30th. There will literally be hundreds of kids, helpers and teachers around the St. Mary's church grounds. Please drive slowly for everyone's safety !!!
On Tuesday, May 23rd we will host a meeting at St. Mary’s Church, for current Extraordinary Ministers to come together so we can update you on changes within the ministry. This event is for also for those who would like more information about becoming trained as a new Extraordinary Minister. We will have both a 9:45AM morning session and a 6:30 PM evening session. that expect to run a little over 1 hour. VBC 2023 will be held August 14 - August 18 ! Our Vacation Bible Camp (VBC) is open to campers Age 4 to Grade 4 and runs from 9a.m. to Noon each day offering music, bible stories, crafts and lots of summer fun.
