During the weekend of July 30 and 31, Fr. Sean McGillicuddy will be asking for your prayers and financial assistance, speaking at most of our Masses on behalf of the poor of Brazil. Fr. Patrick McGillicuddy, C.Ss.R , (Fr. Sean’s brother) a Redemptorist priest, has been a missionary in Brazil for forty-two years. Since 1992 he has worked with and for the street population in and around Curitiba, Brazil. He and those who work with him run Our Lady of Perpetual Help Center, a spiritual and social center located near a large favela (which is a type of slum or shantytown). They also operate Casa Sarnelli, a residence and fully accredited school for homeless adult males. Please welcome Fr. Sean next weekend with your kind words, prayers and , if you are able, your financial generosity. Thank you!
